What makes this studio great is the fact that there are multiple classes offered throughout the morning, afternoon and evening to accommodate nearly any schedule. That's always a key factor to me when evaluating a studio.There are also multiple locations throughout the Columbus area, so you can pop into a different space if you happen to be in a different side of town on any given day.
I highly recommend GoYoga teacher training. Yoga is more than just a physical practice, it is meant to be an experience. GoYoga provides both in their classes and in their training. The Level One teacher training was a phenomenal experience. The schedule - two long weekends over two months- gave time to get deeply immersed, come up for air, then go deep into it again. Learning how to sequence a class, detail about the postures, etc. first, then coming back and actually being able to teach was a great experience. The confidence from creating that yourself and then teaching it is huge.
I actually completed my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training here! (Levels 1&2). It was a positive experience for me and substantially more affordable than any other teacher training programs in Columbus.
The owners of GoYoga, and every instructor involved in this Teacher Training delivered excellence, every single day. Their passion and deep rooted respect for yoga was infectious. The materials provided, along with phenomenal instruction, made this journey an amazing experience.
In fact, this was such a wonderful, positive experience; I am attending the GoYoga Level 2 Teacher Training in the fall, and can’t wait for classes to start!
I love this studio! After trying almost every yoga studio in Columbus, I have found a gem! Perfect for the beginner or seasoned yogi. The diverse class schedule and multiple locations offer something for everyone. Each teacher brings his or her own flair into class, so it is fun to try different classes and learn new things from each passionate individual.
With having very little yoga experience under my belt, I attended the GoYoga Level 1 Teacher Training classes expecting to gain a better understanding of yoga basics, postures and poses, etc. What I walked away with was much more than I ever imagined.
I think I like the Powell studio the best, but all the locations I have been to are clean and smell nice.
The format of this teaching also provided a wonderful connection with the other students. From open discussion to providing feedback to tearful speeches about what yoga means and how it has impacted you, all of the students gained much more than just yoga teaching experience, we now understand the complete experience yoga is meant to bring you.
I would highly recommend GoYoga’s Teacher Training to anyone, regardless of how long you’ve been practicing yoga.
I'm new to yoga, took advantage of the 2 wks unlimited for $25, and have enjoyed every class I've taken. The scheduling is very easy, the studio is very welcoming and the instructors lead engaging classes. I will be joining and look forward to making this practice part of my schedule and plan for optimal health.
I would highly recommend this training to anyone wanting to understand yoga more, wanting to deepen their practice, and, of course, wanting to teach others.
