The owners are such amazing people. Ive met alot of the member there snd everyone is genuinly very amazing group of people. Powell is licky to have so many residence as is Chalkdust crossfit
Amazing crossfit box. The coaches are incredible, very friendly and social yet very motivating and push you to your limits. Newly renovated so has some great space for the work outs. Just great atmosphere here, I wouldn't go to any other box.
I now have 4 months at this Box. My wife and I are new to CrossFit and have felt welcomed by the Owner's, coaches and community. My wife and I went to regular gyms for years, I couldn't imagine ever going back. The work outs here are challenging but I always feel great afterwards. I love walking in and not having to think about what I am going to do. The work out is already spelled out for you and there are plenty of people willing to help. Before we chose this gym we visited many other gyms in Dublin Powell and Worthington and ChalkDust just felt like the right fit from the minute we walked in.
I usually CrossFit at my home gym but when the temperatures drop for the winter, I happily head in to ChalkDust for a few months. I value the coaching that I get during those months from Coach Mike (and Katie and Robert!) who corrects what I have been doing wrong and also educates me on things I wasn't aware of. The gym has a constant stream of friendly and supportive faces at each class who also do a great job of pushing you. If you are interested in trying out CF, they have a free Community WOD on Saturdays that will give you a taste of the movements and the people so definitely check it out.
Great culture and community. Best workout in Powell. Mike and Katelyn the owners really know their stuff. If you have the need to sweat, make friends and get better everyday this is the place for you.
