Drove 60 miles to Powell to attend grandson's high school baseball game. Upon returning home, made it as far as RT.23 and car sputtered and died. Out of warranty Mercedes. Son-in-law recommended AAA Care Care Powell. After an hour and 3 more dying of the engine, made it to AAA just before closing and dealt with Mr. Russ Pitts. Received a call from Mr. Pitts the next day that it was a computer module that controlled cam shaft and engine combustion. Part was ordered, car repaired and completed by end of day. Completely satisfied with the service and personal involvement of Mr. Pitts. Should I ever have another car problem while visiting Powell, AAA Car Care Plus will be my repair shop of choice. These guys are great! An honest auto shop with great prices, and discounts for AAA members. They have quite a range of maintenance services for most vehicles. They also have quick turn around.
I was very impressed with with teamwork and thoroughness that went into diagnosing a new 'sound' I was hearing from my car. One dude was up in the car on the lift stepping on the gas to spin the tires, another was working the lift, while a third mechanic was under the car listening and pinpointing the problem. They found and fixed my problem at a reasonable price. I'll be taking all my auto repair business to these guys in the future.
