It's just a regular everyday Home Depot but this one doesn't have the same layout as any other one I've been in the layouts terrible you can't find a thing it's like a maze with t intersections at the end of half of the aisles the employees are good but not knowledgeable what can you expect it's a Home Depot

We'll start with the pros. I was able to walk in, find what I needed, and they helped me make an order for something they didn't have in-store. Seeming pretty common at that point.

Horrible experience with delivery of $2500 in appliances... Delivery service damaged the washer, took it back with them and promised to return 2 days later... Didn't come back for 3 weeks, and then didn't bring correct replacement and wouldn't work with is on their 4 hour "window"... We ate busy working people with active kids, but they cant wait 10 minutes for us to get back from a soccer field.

They were fine with us returning everything but want us to set up a "window" to have their delivery pick up what we do have which has been sitting in our living room for 3 weeks. No, thanks, we will keep what we have, apparently the profit isnt enough to matter to them anyways so we are not going to inconvenience ourselves further.

The WORST aspect is how the store manager and delivery company treated us, they absolutely do not care about the customer or their reputation... Apparently they are so big it doesn't matter how they treat people. Blatantly they really do not care about the hassle they've caused us which is more detailed than I will spend time with here or that we spent a significant amount of money or that the simple proper human thing to do is to be polite courteous and respectful. Not to mention in the service industry when somebody comes to you to spend a lot of money and pays for a service simply to make things easier and you make it infinitely more difficult and then add insult to injury that means that you are simply not a good person. That is the Home Depot manager we spoke with today.

Well, I made my order on 6/17, and the estimated date of arrival was set to 6/20. The guy making the order explained it would likely take about 5 days, and that I would receive a call when it was delivered. Well, I went in without getting a call, hoping it would be there. I was told it wasn't shipped yet and that it would be there at some later date, having forgotten at this point what that date was. Again, went back in, didn't get a phone call, and it was not yet shipped. That was around 7/1, and at this point I was slightly annoyed, but it wasn't a huge deal. Finally, 7/19 I get to pick it up. They were having computer trouble and almost sent me away today as well, but the service desk was polite and managed to help.

I will note, all I ordered was a small piece of carpet. It was a 12' x 1' piece for patching. The fact it took this long to get something so small is beyond me, but it has been a pretty horrid experience having a hole in my carpet while waiting on them.

We had purchased a re-bath remodeling for our bathroom and the sales person just ripped us off by charging us $12000 to replace the back wall of small bathroom, shower head, the lights and the floor, and a bath tub. The tub they had installed is 3" lower than what we asked for (because they are trying to sell you the smaller size tub but charge you for a bigger sized tub), Sales person also told us that for some reason we cant install the sliding doors in our bathroom? (because its cheaper for them to just install a new curtain rod but charge you for a sliding shower curtain door). We have never been ripped like this before. I never seen such prices in my life! Only good thing about this experience that the installers did a really professional job of installing everything. But for $12000 we could have re-bathed 3 bathrooms. What a rip off!

Greeter was very pleasant. The guy in hardware was very knowledgeable. I got what I wanted easily. I had a bad experience with a different time when the cashier wanted to get me a home depot card. It took longer than they said and it was embarrassing when they said no. Trust me I can get Amy card I want or pay cash at Amy time. The credit card experience is the only bad experience I have ever had at a home depot. Again it was not this home depot. Our experience at this home depot was quite enjoyable

Cross Home Depot in Powell off of your list! They are so untouchable and busy that they dont have to be decent human beings.

At a month past the estimated date of arrival, I'm not in a rush to give much more of my business to them. Lowes has always done well by me, and I should have known better than to go somewhere else because of convenience.
